Grains Of Sand

from Appearances by The End At The Beginning

lyrics

Our time is running out, all has gone so fast
You never noticed it until it's passed
Life is not a movie, there's no rewind
But I can see all these memories printed in my mind.
In childhood days bounds seem so strong,
But growing up you learn they are too easy to dissolve.
Don't think all this is harming
My scars and my precious moments tell me who I am now.

We've always promised that nothing would have changed,
It's harder to see you becoming stranger day by day.
We've always promised that nothing would have changed,
It's harder to see you becoming stranger day by day.

Let's meet one again
Let's pretend to live the olden days
Our last chance to cheat the time
To turn the hourglass
Such an unconscious lie
A self-deceit to make those moments truth
My last chance to prove our bond
Was not a waste of time
It was not a waste of time
Turn the hourglass

We've always promised that nothing would have changed,
It's harder to see you becoming stranger day by day.
We've always promised that nothing would have changed,
It's harder to see you becoming stranger day by day.

Our attempt has failed
But this is not the end
We can remember together
